When is an IUI needed????

So my gyn feels an IUI might be needed we are ttc for about 7months now, I'm 42yrs old and my fiancé is 32yrs old... When is an IUI needed though and why?

I’d say if your dr is suggesting it, then it’s probably needed.

It’s used when you aren’t having luck conceiving. Since you’re over 40 they probably think it would be the fastest/easiest way to pregnancy. Good luck! I say do it.
