So I’ve been seeing this guy for 8 months. Hes 42 and I’m 18. It’s not just a fling or something pervy. We actually have a very healthy relationship and I have no regrets. The only thing is my mom caught us a few weeks ago. The only thing i regret is having to lie to her because I know she won’t approve of his age but we aren’t doing anything wrong but she will never understand that. He is a great friend and is not dangerous at all but I can’t tell her that in any way that she understands.

Mom but it’s partly her fault for not accepting something that’s not at all dangerous. I am going to college in a month and will be free to do what I want without her controlling me. Should I keep seeing him since it’s a great friendship or should i stop because I promised her I wouldn’t speak to him again. (I think that she only made me promise to not speak to him again because she thinks I’m in danger and I’m not)
