just a curiuosity question for you all. if i did not have any good eggs and my only option would be donor eggs. now say my sister who is younger offered to be our donor, would her eggs be just like what mine would of been, genetics and all?

While you are your sister may resemble one another or have same hair color or eye color ... you have your own DNA. Every single person has their own DNA. When your egg and your husbands sperm meet it creates your baby’s DNA. 
So if you use a random donor eggs then it would be your spouses sperm and their egg creating the DNA. You would have no genetic connection to the baby. 
If you use your sister’s eggy then y’all would have a family genetic match but you won’t be the child’s biological mom. 
I will add that genes don’t make you a mom. If you want to be a mom but your eggs won’t allow that to happen then go what ever route you need.

I’ve also looked into using my sisters egg. Not the same DNA but there will be huge similarities and I like the idea of having some genetic resemblance to my child and that he or she may even look a bit like me :)

I’ve done research on this because my sister offered to be my donor as well. We aren’t there yet but I did want to see how genetically similar we were. 
So both of us get our genes from the same two people( our parents). Genetically speaking, we would share 50% of the same DNA as our sisters.
