THC in breast milk?

So my daughter is a month old. a couple of weeks ago I decided to smoke after a 2 year hiatus. I've been smoking at night for the last 11 nights. my problem now, I want to go back to breast feeding my baby. but I know I need to let my system and breastmilk get clean...so how long will it take for my breast milk to get clean? I live in texas, and if she pops up with any THC in her system...well....we are screwed.

it's your personal choice. I know plenty of moms who smoke weed and breastfeed and I know plenty of moms who dont. all of their babies are equally happy and they are all healthy and loved. it's all about personal choice and noone should make another person feel bad for their choices. parents need to stick together to make the world a better place for our children. it takes a village to raise a child. stop with the fucking judging one another. life is hard enough without the "perfect" parents making us all feel bad.  girl if you want to keep lighting up go for it! take a hit for me

You honestly should be safe, as long as you don't continue to smoke. If it makes you feel safer, pump and dump that way your supply doesn't suffer. If you only smoked that one time, you should be fine in less than a month. Normal detox is 30 to 40 days for continuous use. The amount of THC that actually passes through isn't enough to get your baby high at all. My current ped has done a lot of research due to it being a legal state and more patients using every day, etc. Drink plenty of water to help flush your system. You can always test yourself in about 2 weeks with a cheap test.

what I'm worried about is the pediatrician testing for whatever reason...
or her getting sick and she has to go to the hospital for whatever reason..

Best plan is to stock up on breast milk about 1 or 2 months after you've smoked (it stays in your system for 30 days) to make sure your system is clear.

breast milk is similar to blood. depending on your weight, water, consumption/quality and activity it depends on you. why would your lo get tested for thc?

Please make sure it is out of your system before you breastfeed her again. THC is stored in fat. Breast milk is made up of mostly water & fat. It’s like letting your baby eat an eatable. 
You can get it out fast by sweating, drinking a lotttt of water, and apparently pickle juice helps too.
