I have always put y's in the place of I's in my pet's names throughout my life because I really love the letter y for some reason. My kitties were Syren, Syreniti, Catyrpillar... but naming my child is definitely more important than naming a pet so I'm really debating on whether or not to stick with my preferred way of spelling it or to go with the proper spelling. All opinions are welcome and appreciated and I am open to any other spelling suggestions that would be cool. I like unique but I don't want my kid to hate her name either lol. Thank you!😄
