I got my IUD (mirena) removed February 12th, 2018 and about 2 days after that I got a period. It wad the normal 7 days. In March and April i also had normal periods. After I got my period at the end of April, at the beginning of May thr bleeding started back up and it was really confusing but I jsut brushed it off and dealt with it but then the bleeding disnt stop. I waited all of May to see if it would stop and it didnt so the beginning of june i Made a doctors appointment and my doctor did blood work and a pap smear since ive never had one. She tested for badically everything and all that came back normal. The pap smear came back normally as well so she had me wait a little longer and then she'd follow up with me to see if its still going on. well its almost august and im still havnt consistant bleeding. I went to my appointment monday and she decided to re do my blood work to see if anything has changed and she wants to do a ultrasound now to see if anythings wrong there since everything keeps coming back okay. She tested for pregnancy since we are trying and that was negative. At this point im convinced it could be my IUD and my doctor is considering that but she isnt sure. She wants to rule out anything else first. Im not sure what to do. This is really getting annoying. When I got the IUD i was told there would be a long period of bleeding when I got it put in but never said I would have to deal with this once removed. Any advice?
