how to wean off sippy cups at night?? 😴😭

my daughter 2 and she still on sippy cup night and trying to wean her off she wanting it 6 times at night how to wean them off? how long does it take for them to cry without it?

Is she having it with milk? If she is, start diluting it with water until it’s just water. My daughter sleeps with a spill proof cup in her bed incase she’s thirsty, but it’s just water.

I always feel so mean when I see these things. I'd personally just switch it to water (assuming its not) and then leave it. My daughter has a spill proof water bottle that shes allowed to bring into her room every night that just has water it. She recently turned 3 but shes been doing it since she turned 2 and went off sippy cups. We just take it and she adjusts. We did the same with our son.

I would see her pediatrician. it could be a medical condition that is causing her to feel so thirsty. It doesnt seem normal to want to drink that much at night

I'm confused as to why your 2 year old has a sippy cup at night in the first place. And she shouldn't have a sippy cup in her bed, period. That's so dangerous. I'd take it away cold turkey. Our 14 month old doesn't do this ever. She has a sippy cup with milk in it with dinner (at about 5:30pm) and then she's put to bed at 6:30 no problem. She gets milk again for breakfast.
