Help need some advice!

3 days ago I had som light spotting it was very brown/dark red and kinda stretchy I had that for 2 days then didn’t start my period but I took a pregnancy test last night and negative! But it says I’m late for my period by 5 days and me and my boyfriend have been baby dancing a lot! Should I retest in a couple of days or so you think I’ll still be negative. Haven’t had any symptoms yet other then urination a lot! Let me know what you think!
