Well I’ve never experienced this kind of pain before. I suppose I should see a doctor but it’s Friday so they won’t be open now till Monday. If things get bad I will phone out of hours doctor.

Anyhow my period is due in the next week, I am sexually active but I have the copper coil. I am on a lot of medication too but nothing I think has changed this month. I am also on a new diet... could be affecting it (low carb high fat).

But at first it started as a weird on and off pressure by my left ovary after waking up and throughout the day, but now it’s turned into random stabbing pains but only on that left side. It’s got me really concerned.

I read it could be an ovarian cyst which I’ve never had before or an ectopic pregnancy, but hopefully it’s neither. Have any of your girls had anything like this before and what was it and should I see a doctor next week or what?

I am feeling a bit freaked but maybe it’s just one of those weird body things. Maybe it’s just constipation or something in a different place to usual lol!

**UPDATE**

My period has arrived as usual on time with the same heavy flow so definitely not pregnant, but the strange pain on the left side by my ovary still continues so I am thinking at this point it could be a cyst. It is not that bad and I read most cysts clear up on their own but if it becomes worse I will go to my doctor and ask for an ultrasound.

Otherwise could just be something to do with my bowels from the diet change. Lol.
