When to start shopping for baby

How far along were you when you started buying things for baby? I'm 8w3d, baby was perfect on US, but I'm not quite ready to buy anything yet. When do you think it's safe to start spending on your little one?

I started at 12 weeks, but I also was able to find out the gender at 11 weeks because my OB lets everyone decide, high risk or not, if they want to have the genetic/chromosomal testing done and with that you can find out the gender early.

I bought some nuetral sleep sacks, onsies and bottles at 17wks. When we found out the sex I bought more clothes in girls colors. I'm 22wks 4days and have also recently bought a swing and travel system during the amazon one day prime sale. I think buy things little buy little looking for sales in best. I also keep in mind things I'll get at my baby shower.

At 12 weeks I started buying wipes, diapers, pacifiers, stuff for the bath, ect. I waited until 19 weeks after we found out the gender to start buying everything else like car seat, stroller, clothes, blankets, nursery stuff.

Waited until we knew the gender. I had a miscarriage last pregnancy so I wasn't even buying unisex stuff.

I would start early like right after I found out the gender. That way when your baby arrives, you are not that overwhelmed. You can even buy stuff like baby wipes, diapers, pacifiers, bottles, blankets...etc.

I started when I found out I'm having a baby girl. That was at 15 weeks. I feel it's easier when you know the sex so you can have more fun in coordinating the stuff
