is it crazy to want a baby at 40?

I  have 2 girls they are 20 and 18 I had them when I  was young the guy I was with at the time I thought  he loved me but he did not I was just young and dumb now I'm  older I  feel like I missed out on what it feels like to have a baby  with someone that loves me I don't  regret having my girls now that I'm 40 I  want that with someone that loves me am I crazy for wanted that at 40??

not at all I got married and had 3 girls really young with an awful manchild then divorced and found my husband at first we were not going to have children I had 3 girls he had 2 girls but 4 years later god had other plans I was 36 when I had our 1st Son 39 when I had our Daughter and I am 41 and 28 weeks 3 days with our 2nd Son my husband loves being a father and having a family .oh ta so much different than the 1st time around ❤ good luck

I had my first daughter at 18, I dated her father for 10 years (13-23). He was horrible to me, cheated and was never home. I took care of our daughter alone. Now my daughter is about to be 11 and I'm having my second baby with the most loving, amazing, sweet man! I don't regret having my first but I am looking forward to having a baby with someone who will help me and loves me! I don't think it's crazy to want another child later in life. If that's what makes y'all happy! Go for it!

Every single person I’ve talked to with older parents appreciated their age, maturity, and stability, but wished they’d be around longer for big life events to happen. 
Maybe adoption would be a good choice?
Or if that’s not the route you’d want to go, I say go for it, but make sure your health is in order first!!
