How do I ask my mom to get me birth control pills?

I'm 15 and i am sexually active, but I also would like to be safer than only using a condom. I don't technically need BC but I know I'm not ready to be a mother. me and my mom aren't close at all but I am on her insurance plan(I think that's what it's called) and can't get it anywhere else. She is the only adult that I could ask for this. plz help

If you have planned parenthood in your area you don’t need a parent. I went that route when I was young cause there is no way in hell my dad would have agreed if anything I would have been grounded....  don’t even think parents are required if you go to just a doctor but you’d have to call.

You can get on it at school with out your parents knowing and for free You should ask the health center/nurse at school. I got on the depo shot at school with out my parents knowing.

You can tell her it’s for your periods. Say that your periods are heavy and unbearable and last forever etc. That’s how my parents let me get BC
