If so how hard is it taking care of a inside duck?

Your duck wouldn't be happy inside. 
You can keep them inside as babies. In like a big box , but once they bond with you you can allow them outside and you can have them not leave your property. 
My neighbors have ducks and geese and they have like 5 little plastic kids pools and a little house for them and stuff and they don't have a fence and they're birds don't leave their house

Definitely don't recommend inside ducks.... they wouldn't be happy at all. I have 6 and love them. They are SO messy though. I had them in the garage as babies and they will try to swim in any water you give them and the poop is terrible. They are meant to be outdoors :)

I have ducks bc I live on a dairy farm and they get sick if inside to long and won't grow properly if you keep the wrong breed in to small of a cage also they have to be the world's messiest animals hands down.

I know of a family that has ducks and chickens and the ducks live how the chickens do - outside and in cages/coops to produce eggs 🤷🏼‍♀️That would be cute and funny to have an indoor pet duck though haha🦆

They can’t be potty trained - they don’t care where they poop. Their poop is surprisingly big for a bird. No way would I do an inside duck.

Disgusting. And you def need more than 1. They don't do well alone and you'll never sleep. I'm grossed out by birds and it was NOT my decision to get ducklings. It takes a ton of cleaning if you don't want your house to smell like sh*t all the time. Once they were big enough (and it was warm enough outside), they stayed outdoors and I actually liked them then.
