This was our 4th baby and after having the same doc and hospital births, all with good but similar outcomes we decided to look for even better and we planned a homebirth with the most amazing midwife. Our outcome was so amazingly different even though we still ended up delivering at the hospital, by accident lol! With all three of my other babies I experienced preterm labor that had to be stopped and delivered between 36.6-37.3 weeks. With this baby I never experienced preterm labor and I delivered at 41.2 weeks! The Care I received with my midwife was more whole she looked at my history, my health as a whole, my nutrition and together we formulated a plan to help this truly be the healthiest pregnancy I’ve ever had! This continues in my newborn, she is my healthiest baby ever! All of my other babies had serious jaundice, she has no jaundice! So how did I end up at the hospital anyway? I went overdue and we decided it was best to go in for a BioPhysicalProfile to be sure we were being safe continueing to wait for her. Well the test never got completed lol labor started just as we began the test and 35 min later she was here!! Not kidding 35 min of incredibly fast uncontrollable labor and our sweet girl was here! Couldn’t believe that was even possible! We both are doing great and home!
