Best home deodorizer???

Question

The smell in my house is driving me insane!!!! I don’t know if it smells like garbage or food, of course my husband doesn’t smell it. Any suggestions on home deodorizers? And yes, I cleaned out the fridge, taken the trash out, etc

I am not a fan of a bunch of artificial junk being sprayed in for us to breath so I use Plant Therapy (essential oils) deodorizing blend. It’s kidsafe too. You just mix it with some witch hazel or even vodka and water and spray. It’s versatile too, can add to laundry detergent, make deodorant out of it, diffuse it, literally a ton of uses.

I love Bad Air Sponges. It’s a little plastic can that you can put places. It has a little bit of scent, but it sucks up odors very well.

I stay away from the chemical fragrances that have phthalates (or parabens or sulfates....any of that stuff that is supposedly toxic).  I got an essential oil diffuser and I put organic essential oils in it. I feel like it works pretty well to make the house smell fresh - especially after we pan fry fish or something.  I like to do a few drops of peppermint plus tea tree oil for a clean scent. Or lavender and tea tree oil.

Baking soda or even cinnamon are natural deodorizers. Sometimes we sprinkle baking soda on the carpets and vacuum it up 30 mins later.
