Boating in Alaska: can it cause miscarriage?

Emmalee

My husband is from Alaska and he has been SO excited to bring me to go fishing and see all of the cool sites! We weren’t planning to be pregnant for the trip but here I am 15w3d and have been on a boat out in the ocean twice now. First day, experienced nausea and threw up in the boat in front of all of his family🤢🤮😅 second day, barely any nausea. But both days we got some pretty hard waves that lasts usually about an hour (since the island we fished at was forever away) I’ve been trying to listen to my body, eat when I need to, sleep when I need to, and when the waves got too much, I would go in the very back where they weren’t as bad but after a phone call with my mom last night, she has me all sorts of worried that I could cause a miscarriage from the harsh waves or even straining to reel in a big fish. I woke up this morning with back pain and, what I am assuming is only constipation pain (however I was scared they were abdominal cramps) no bleeding though but now I’m SO stressed that I’m going to miscarry. Am I being ridiculous? Or should I be worried? I skipped out on this mornings fishing trip, even though this one isn’t in the boat, I just wanted to rest and give the baby a break. I don’t know, I’m just scared I guess. Any thoughts?? 😣😬
