Service Dog Language
Why do some people teach their service dogs French or German. I’ve of course, heard English, but I’ve noticed some YouTubers choose to speak French with their dog despite themselves not being fluent in French. Maybe this isn’t as common as a think it is, but is there some reasoning behind teaching the dog a different language? I’m thinking maybe it’s so a dog won’t get confused if someone else says something in English.
