Is this Normal?

I am 34+5. I have had diarrhea for about a week, and started with a sore throat yeasterday. It got so bad that it hurts to swallow. I have had diarrhea 4 times today alread. One of the times I lost what I wouldd have thought was my mucus plug, because it was a big pile of mucus about the size of my fist, but not bloody, so I dont think it was my plug. is this normal? Why do I have these symptoms?
