What do you ladies think??

Question

I had a checkup yesterday, I’m 38 weeks, doctor said I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced with a soft cervix. Today I lost some or all of my mucus plus... do you think I’ll make it to my induction date next Tuesday on the 31st? I’m kind of freaked out now!!

The mucus plug doesn’t mean anything, neither does dilating. It can still be weeks until you go into labour.

Yes I’m 5cm 80 percent effaced and stillll hangin in there lol

Probably, since dilation and thinning are not an indication of when you’ll go into labor. Why are you being induced?

I’m kind of hoping he stays put for a few days at least! 🤞I don’t have a backup plan for my kids and I’m not quite ready for him. I’m super nervous though, I have no appetite and my cat has been unusually affectionate today lol not like him at all!

Do everything you can bc being induced is awful.

Start walking!! If your dilated already it will help dilate you more :)
