When did you start weaning your baby off of a bottle and on to a sippy cup?

My son drinks a cup during the day but at nap time and bedtime he has to have his bottle. He turned 1 July 6th and he’s already on whole milk. I believe his bottle is kinda like a security blanket for him at night. Any advice?

My baby is 20 months old and still drinks a bottle of milk in the night. During the day she drinks out of a straw or a regular cup but I figure the one bottle of milk in the middle of the night helps her sleep and doesn’t do any harm so why sweat it?

My little one is only 3 months old. But I’ll be offering water in a sippy when we start solids around 6mo :)

My daughter is completely off bottles and only using sippy cups and she’s 7 months old, we started about 2 almost 3weeks ago right after she turned 6 months

My daughter will be 18 months on Aug. 10th & we just got rid of her last bottle, I started trying various sippy cups around 11 months but she was not interested in them @ all, she would just cry & hit them out of my hands or knock them off her high chair tray, the Take n Toss style was the eventual winner & she started drinking out of those w/ dinner around 13 months, @ 15 months she was doing 1 bottle when she woke up in the morning & 1 after her nap but sippy cups @ other times, after a couple of weeks I stopped the after nap bottle & then 2 weeks ago we went on vacation & I just didn’t pack any bottles, vacations are great for changing things up because everything is different anyway, she did great, no fussing about the missing bottle at all

6 months is when I got my daughter on a sippy. I just tried different ones until we found one she liked. We used the munchkin weighted straw cup and eventually moved to the 360 cup.

One of my kids was 2 and the other was 1. The 2 year old was a disaster about it because the baby had bottles so we just ended up cutting them both off at the same time.

My daughter never took a bottle, but we started introducing a straw cup around 8 months. We tried it at every “meal” with a little water in it and after a few weeks, she figured t out.

I went straight to regular cup. granted both my kids are breastfed. but my 2 year old drinks from regular cup no spills
