How to sleep with anxiety?

Sometimes I really struggle to fall asleep because I get really anxious at night. This is a big problem as I have to be up at 5/6am most days for work. I didn’t even get to sleep until like 5 last night and ended up taking the day off (obviously) because I had 0 sleep. Does anybody have any tips? I feel so drained and exhausted 😢

Watching something or having the tv playing helped me a lot. Also doing yoga or meditation before bed try really relaxing.

I can always tell when my anxiety is really bad because my sleep suffers hard. I’ve downloaded a couple of apps with recorded guided meditations that help a little. There is real truth to what they say also, you should try to only use your bed for sleep and sex, and not for watching tv or anything. I also try to read, if I can make my mind focus, because it tires out my eyes. Sleepy time tea is really nice, and I always kind of slip away after a nice bath. Good luck, girl. Sorry you’re dealing with this, anxiety is a real bitch.

Melatonin, drinking a cup of tea, no screen time an hour before bed, and background noise all help. Also getting regular exercise is supposed to help people sleep better.

I have to wake up at 5 and I have the same problem. I downloaded an app and I play rain sounds at night and you could also try melatonin! Hope this helps 💕

Maybe try melatonin and YouTube has some really great guided meditations for anxiety and sleep.
