First off, craving ice is a possible sign for iron deficiency. Other than that, yes, it is water, just frozen. We used to fill big 5 gallon buckets with water and freeze them in a deep freezer, then place them outside for the dogs to lay around and lick on. They appreciated it and it helped keep them hydrated as well as cool during the summer months.

It can be damaging to your teeth, throat, and stomach. Your body thinks it’s water and tries to metabolize it quickly but it’s actually a solid, confusing it and damaging your insides.
