I went to my cousin’s son’s first birthday party today and just found out on fb that he has hand foot mouth. My 14 month old daughter was there but didn’t come into physical contact with him. I touched him a few times but didn’t hold him. Obviously now I’m panicking about getting it or my daughter getting it. Do I really have to wait 3 days before I notice symptoms on her or I?? I’m freaking out. I’m 21 weeks pregnant and don’t know if it could harm the baby in any way. It’s been 5 hours since we were there and I’m so itchy. Of course I instantly wonder if it’s hfm, but then i was outside so maybe chiggers. Ugh. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyone have advice or some insight on this??
