My original due date was August 4th but since I was having twins my doctor said they would induce me between 37 & 38 weeks. Well Monday July 16th was the day! I was 37+2 days! Both babies were head down which meant I could go for my vaginal delivery.

I arrived at the hospital dilated to 4cm & contracting regularly already so the doctor knew it wouldn’t be long. I was started on pitocin at 8 am (4 cm dilated) I got my epidural at 10:30 am (6 cm dilated) & by 11:30 I was dilated to a 10 and ready to go!

They wheeled me into the OR & at 11:39 Miss Daphne Reign was born & 6 minutes later at 11:45 Daxton James was born.

My heart is literally so full! With my first daughter my labor was 24 hours and my birthing experience was HORRIBLE but this time I felt such happiness and bliss and I am in love with my twins! We’re home and got our routine down and are loving the life as a family of 5! Every ounce of pain during the pregnancy was worth it to have these precious angels here! 💙💜
