Induced at 37 weeks

Just looking for some info if anyone else has been in a similar experience.

I was told I’d be induced at 37 weeks (I have had a previous stillborn at 8months pregnant)

A OB who conducted our last scan advised us that she was not engaged and was confused if I could be induced given she hasn’t dropped.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation with being induced without the baby engaging?

Should I look into asking for a cesarean?
