18dpo, no af, BFN!!
Hey all!
This is my first forum post. I'm 20 years old, have pretty regular periods with my l.p. never usually lasting much longer than 28 days. Last month I was seeing a guy and we had A LOT of sex!! Of course we got stupid and started using the pull out method (he has bad timing) and ended up breaking up on June 30th. I know my body pretty well and I'm generally a very healthy person so I can always tell when something is up, and about a week later I started feeling weird so I backtracked and we definitely had sex a good few days in a row during my ovulation period (my last period was June 16, putting my ovulation at about June 29). It is now July 18 and I'm late to the party.
My period was due at 14dpo, and now I am 18dpo and cycle day 33! I took two hpts this morning, one clear blue and one dollarama test and both came up negative. I've also been charting my bbt but I didn't start doing that until a few days after I suspected I was pregnant, at about 10dpo, so I can't really rely on that too much. However, since then my temps have never been lower than 98.0 or higher than 98.8. It was 98.6 two days in a row then dropped this morning to 98.3 but my breasts are much more sensitive today than they have been previously and are more painful than they usually are before I get my period. Nothing unbearable, they just feel very bruised when something comes in contact with them. Especially the left one, and the nausea remains. I've also been super fatigued the last 3 days and have been having massive food aversions and I bloat every time I eat something. I've been having very mild cramps since about 12dpo but more so on one side or the other and not much in the middle like my regular cramps - which I usually only get immediately before I bleed. But so far, no blood!! My daytime temps have also been very high, ranging from 98.8 to 100.2. I don't really know what's going on with my body right now but something is definitely up. I figure I will wait 5 more days and get a blood test done if I don't see af.
In the meantime, does anyone have any opinions on this?? No negativity please, I know that it was irresponsible and I'm prepared (as well as one can be before their first child!) to deal with the consequences. Just trying to get a few second opinions.
Thanks!!
