How long before your baby stopped getting sick EVERY WEEK from daycare!?

I can’t take anymore! My daughter has been in daycare since she was 7.5 months old. She’s 15 months old now and I swear there hasn’t been a period where she was well for a week since. It’s constant! Constant ear infections, colds, strep, herpangina. She seems to have a chronic cough. Shes had tubes placed and still has horrible ear infections. She’s been on so many antibiotics I’ve lost track. I’m exhausted!! Doctor says it’s what happens when kids are in daycare. When does this end!? Has anyone else been through this? 😰

Same (though summer has helped alittle) but my ped said at least when he’s 4 he’ll have a healthy immune system...only 3 more years to deal with this 😅😩

My kiddo has been in day since he was 12 weeks (currently 7 months now) and has gotten sick sooo many times from daycare. I’m nervous for winter because I know it’s going to be so awful. I was planning on weaning at 12 months and I’m contemplating that now because I know how beneficial breastmilk is at fighting sickness (I exclusively pump). We seem to get maybe one good week before something else pops up. Ear infection, cough/cold, fevers, croup, etc. it’s exhausting. Plus all the norms of infant issues, teething, regressions, leaps, etc.

All kids are different as well. I worked at a daycare center and there were some kids who were sick all the time and others that barely got sick, no matter how long they were there. My son and I got sick often for the first 6 months or so and then were usually fine after that.
