Opinions pls

I started spotting light around the 18th & lasted about four days.. I was suppose to start my period around those days.. even tho I spotted a dark brown color for a few days could I still be pregnant? Or was that most likely my period? My period is always heavy the first 2 days & I beed bright red.. this month is was unusual
