I always liked to lay on my side and nurse while the baby would lay next to me. I always felt like I was able to relax better which would allow for a better flow of milk. I nursed my daughter for about 17 months and eventually she didn’t want to lay down so I would try to keep my feet up and just let her lay across me on her belly and nurse.

Side lying drains more thoroughly and more quickly for us - definitely!
