Is buspirone addicting?

I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and I don’t know if I should take it or not my doctor told me to take (30mg) one in the morning and one at night I think that’s way too much. Any thoughts? Experience with this medication? TIA :)

you need to follow your doctors orders. if you feel like the dosage is wrong/too much, call them. please do not take medical advice from this app

It's not addictive - twice a day is normal for that medication. It's not an SSRI like other anti anxiety/antidepressants (those you take daily and they take a couple weeks for max effect - buspirone is supposed to start working faster).
