Do you warm your bottles or use room temperature water?

I used to but stopped around 4 months. I just use room temp tap water!

Warm bottles have no actual purpose other than for baby’s preference. I use room temp water from a gallon jug. If I refrigerate a bottle he will take it cold no problems. I spoke with the pedi about this because I was told cold causes constipation, but this is actually a myth. I do not recommend using tap water if you have “city” water. This water is very nasty and full of chemicals similar to what is used in public pools, I wouldn’t get water out of the pool and feed it to my baby so I wouldn’t give tap water, I won’t even drink tap water. Speak with someone who works at the water plant about it for more info.

I use room temp bottled water. If my son doesn’t drink all of it I’ll put in the fridge for next feed but I warm that up before giving it

I keep 2 bottles with the correct amount of water on the counter at all times and use the oldest one. When my daughter was younger eating more often I kept more. I just fill one with formula when she’s ready to eat. She had a ton of tummy issues in the beginning and warm bottles actually did not set well on her tummy at all! I discovered this trick and love it!

My doctor said using warm tap water is fine.

At some point I stopped warming every bottle maybe at 4 months but it’s all a blur now I can’t remember exactly.
