Alijah for a girl?

NO rude comments, please..just wanted to put feelers out there. Is Alijah (Elijah) one of those names (ex: Charlie, Mason, Ryan, Jaden, Taylor, etc) that you feel could go either way, or no? I generally like names that are unique, but normal; not super common. While the name is common for boys, I personally have only heard of only one girl with the name...thoughts? I like the A spelling vs. E for a girl, so that wouldn't change.

For clarification before you read my comment: I like it! 
However, for whatever reason, if I were a teacher and saw this name on my roster and knew it was a female, I would read it like “Aliya.” I don’t know why but knowing it’s a feminine name I can’t help but make the J sound like a Y in my head

Kendra Wilkinson named her daughter Alijah so I think it’s more of a feminine way to spell it. But it’s unisex.

I’ve always though Elijah/Elisha (same pronunciation) is a unisex name. The A would just make it look more feminine written on paper.
