my 4th baby snd i bought a doppler im 18 weeks. and when i go to find the heartbeat it a bit past my belly button on the left side.  close to 23/24 wrek mark should be !   anyone else? and why so high up?

maybe you are hearing the Hb when doppler is placed there but baby is lower. I can find babys hb from different places around my belly. never tried that high as I know kiddo is still low.

I’m 18 weeks and have never found the baby above my belly button. This is my second.

I am 18.5 weeks and I find my baby usually on the right side of my belly button about an inch below. Everyone is different so things will move and shift sooner or later than some :)

I have a short torso and it’s the opposite for me I’m 20 weeks and actually have a large uterus but you can’t hear their heart beat unless you put the Doppler really low like lower than 16 weeks.

Your baby may be breech at the moment, also the Doppler can pick up baby’s heart beat at head, neck, chest and even feet.
