TTC at a specific time (for due date)

Okay, so I have a specific time period that it would be convenient for me to give birth, since I’m in graduate school for Speech Pathology starting in the fall. This time period is approximately May 1-june1 2019. So I’m trying to get pregnant in my next two fertile periods. I have no idea how easy it is for me to get pregnant because I’ve never tried before... what should I do to make sure I get pregnant during these specific time periods? How early in my fertile period should we try and how do I know when I’m actually ovulating, not just when the app tells me?
