When is birth control out of system?

So I stopped taking my birth control at the end of april. I have noticed recently that I have been getting acne again. Also my period is 12 days late and I have cramping and tored. All the tests are negative.  Is my hormones out of balance and that is why I am having these symptoms. My system has to find its own track back for my period ?

Vanessa I'm literally right there with you! I stopped birth control in mid april, my period is now 4 days late and tests are negative. I haven't broken out on my face so much, but I have on my chest and it's incredibly irritating.

And the waiting game just sucks. I'm perfectly fine trying again next month, but I need my period to get here so we can move on to the next cycle.

I'm in the same boat. I stopped taking birth control last month and I am now a few days late. I'm having a mixture of anxiety over something wrong and wonder if I'm already pregnant.

When I visited my doctor for my pre-pregnancy check-up, she told me it was very likely it could take 3-6 months for things to straighten out. So, I try to keep her words in mind.

I stopped BC on May 1, had regular "withdrawal" bleed and then...sickness, symptoms, horrible feelings and negative tests for a month. Finally felt better in mid-June. No period of any kind till last week and it was a pretty light one-- now just spotting. It's been taking awhile and that was the frustration of being sick for no "good" reason. Trying to stay focused on being healthy and just started evening primrose oil tonight to try and help regulate. Hoping for the best! I'd like to be carrying the third member of our family soon!

I stopped taking bc may 31 and now 2 cycles using glow I'll be 4 weeks pregnant tommorrow so it depend on your body mine left my system quick it could take a little while though

I stopped week 3 of May and literally woke up feeling myself Tuesday of this week (7/14). Major breast tenderness, wierd unpredictable periods, acne, moody, emotional, spitting on and off throughout my cycle, etc.

My obgyn told me 3 months... I personally think it is more like 6 months to get "back on track"... hope this helps.
