Multiple MCs (Blighted Ovum)

Today I was diagnosed with my second MC this year (both blighted ovums). Does anyone else have experience with this? Should my doctor be investigating the cause? Her attitude seems to be that this just happens some times. I know that’s true but twice in a row? I’m feeling so disheartened.
