Fall themed baby shower?

My baby shower will be on 9/23. I live in Texas where it’s hot as shit still in late September but I still get as excited as the next girl about my pumpkin spice lattes.
Was thinking of doing a autumn themed shower but hoping it’s not too early. Thoughts??

We had an October shower and this was my center piece. I was in love with how my mom and friends decorated to make it fall-ish but still bright and pretty :)
