so I am going to be 32 weeks tomorrow and I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes early in July. I went to see the specialist about diabetes management on the 19th and they did a growth scan which is the first one I've had since my gender scan at 19 weeks. well at every scan I've had the Dr told me the baby was measuring ahead and at my gender scan they moved my due date up by 8 days from the 18th to the 10th. Well at the scan they did at the specialist they told me that my baby was already 6# I was 31 weeks and a couple days at that point. I know it's not an exact measurement that it can be off, but has anyone measured that far ahead and it be true? I've had so many people tell me their Dr was wrong but I'm curious if your doctor was right about your baby being larger. I was in shock because some of the measurements were reading out at 35 weeks already.
