I just recently found out that my husband and I are expecting our first child! By my calculations, I am just over 5 weeks pregnant. He really wants to be by my side every step of the way and attend every appointment, which is wonderful. But... He will be leaving this week and will be gone for 3 weeks... will it be an issue to wait until I’m 8-9 weeks for my first doctors visit? It’s extremely important to me that he’s there. I’ve read everything from women going at 5 weeks to them not going until 12, any advice would be appreciated. I would ask my doctor, but unfortunately her practice has closed and I am in search of an ob so I do not have a relationship with one currently 😩
