Diastasis Recti

Anyone diagnosed with Diastasis Recti after baby was born? If so, what exercises are you using to help close your gap? I am newly post-partum with baby #2 ( 4 weeks pp) and my condition seems to have gotten worse. My stomach does not sink in but rather bulges out. I have an open naval Diastasis Recti, anyone else experiencing the same thig?

I had that after my daughter was born via emergency section. they told me no abs for 8 weeks. planks seem to have been the most effective 😊

my doc said planks were fine. I would post a picture of my abs as proof that they work but it doesn't give me that option

Forgot to mention... Before I was allowed to work out at all I needed to do enough pelvic floor exercises so that I had got a strong and good basis (for me it took appr 5 weeks of pelvic floor exercises). Not to brag but Im REALLY happy - noone would think I had a 2 year old daughter ;)

My dr told me specifically: NO sit ups, NO planks. Also, no active workout w movement. Instead I should work the inner muscles (ie tightening abb muscles when sitting up straight without changing posture). And ALWAYS keeping pelvic floor muscles tightened throughout the active part of exercise.
