Would it being wrong or weird to ask to bring my child to a babysitting job?

I recently joined care.com because I need income. However I don’t have the money to afford daycare and it would be almost ridiculous to trade paying my kid to go to daycare just to watch someone else’s kid for less than the cost of daycare. Would it be strange to ask if I could babysit with my child with me?

I don’t think that’s strange or wrong at all! I would maybe add it in to your profile so if someone is super opposed to that they can just move along.

Some parents actually like when a baby sitter has a kid because then their kid has someone to play with. 
Just put it on your profile and talk to the family you will be working with.

Not ridiculous at all. Some parents might not like that arrangement but those aren’t the parents for you! Plenty of families are perfectly comfortable with a sitter bringing their kids.

personally speaking I would be hapoy my child had another child to spcialize with. It would be a bonus to me

I’m pregnant with my first and the families I babysit for are explicitly like “But you’ll still bring your kid and babysit for us right?”
They don’t seem to mind at all.
