Why people brag about spoiling their children?

It really frustrates me when I hear " I will spoil my baby" , " can't wait to spoil him/her rotten" . Why do people think spoiling a child is something to be proud of?!? I'd give a million dollars to NOT have a spoiled child! I want a  decent child who is kind and sensitive to the needs of others, I don't want a spoiled brat! Yes, people, spoiled children are not fun, no one likes spoiled kids. So maybe just  think twice before you announce you can't wait to spoil you kid.. Below is definition of spoiled child. Uhm..
