Clomid vs Metformin

Heyyyy ladies!!!!!! So I'm newly married and for the last almost 10 months my husband and I have been TTC Like crazy...I do have PCOS and Though I been on metformin (1500mg daily) and it has kept my cycle consistent I have not seen any changes and obviously no baby.....I'm considering asking my gyno to switch me to clomid.....what are your thoughts? Have you gotten prego with clomid or metformin? Any side effects?

***I recently turned 30 and now have an even more sense of urgency with becoming prego.
