Baby movement or gas?

Question

I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby. The past 2 days I’ve been feeling things and I can’t tell if it’s little gas bubbles or baby movement. I never really have gas issues so I don’t know the difference between the 2.

I didn't know right away either. I noticed my baby's kicks first. It felt like a little heartbeat in a certain part of my body. I actually didn't realize it was a kick till he did it a few times. Then it hit me and I was so excited. Now I'm 37 weeks and he moves like crazy! Now when he moves you can see my stomach doing waves.

It could be the baby. at first it feels like a butterfly and then gas. Later for me it felt like a huge fish turning around in my tummy. Now at 35 weeks i can feel bum, legs, knees or elbows. Not sure which one it is but something sharp lol.
