Which MacBook is the best?

I'm looking to get one for college. I'm leaning towards the MacBook pro (the new one) but, I heard something about it. 
I heard that it got rated 1/10 if it breaks it can't be fixed. That scared me lol, if I'm spending that much it has to be fixed 😩. I'm planning on getting Apple care with it as well. 
What should I do?

I work for a certain fruit shaped company as a tech. I dont get commision or anything, so dont think I'm lying or trying to sell you something. I dont care if you buy Apple or not 🤷‍♀️ but between the 2, I'd get the macbook pro and PLEASE get AC+ on it! they are great devices, and pretty sturdy, but life happens sometimes and repairs get expensive. I have seen these devices last 10+ YEARS if you care for it properly (literally have worked on a 2006 Mac running Mountain Lion and it was still going strong).  most issues (unless its hardware) can be fixed over the phone with us. its free support-- use it! so much easier than waiting for a store appointment and hearing that you should call in instead.
