You are just fine.  I wish someone told me not to waste my time letting people into my space.  I’m happily in love and with the person of my dreams.  I can honestly say I could have skipped several people, even just kissing or dating, along the way.  
Honestly, your friends are risking an infection, disease, pregnancy, and much much more. Enjoy life and laugh at the extra misery you avoid.  
Also, avoid sending nude photos.  You never know who will see them and you have a long life ahead.
