I was lucky to be offered the NIPT test and really wanted to find out the gender. I very very much wanted a boy because I have a girl and I'm done having kids after this.

After extensive googling I can only keep hoping there might be a mistake but we all know that's highly unlikely. I'm not particularly surprised by the depths of my disappointment and this is why I want to know the gender before the child is born so I can work through the feelings. I'll get there... and I'll be happy she's healthy.
