So after finally getting the courage to go see my gyno, I’m a little let down by the appointment.

I expressed to my doctor that I got off my BC a year and a half ago to specifically get pregnant and have not been able to regulate my cycles. I told her I use OPKS religiously.

I even told her that my had fertility problems due to PCOS, but she didn’t express any concern for that or order for me to get an ultrasound. She just did a normal exam, bloodwork, and told me to come back a week after I thought I ovulated to check my progesterone. She didn’t really offer much advice on regulating my period or express concern.

Of course after the fact I thought of a million questions I could have asked, but I was anxious in the moment.

So....how did your first visit go when you expressed problems with fertility? Is my experience normal?
