Early period?

I am about 7dpo and I'm  have brown spotting is it possible my period is coming early? I don't spot I usually go onto a light flow then heavier and cramps....no cramps. I had a chemical so what can it be?

How long after your spotting did you test positive? And did your brown spotting change at all? Did it get heavier? I had the same thing happen to me but with a negative test 3 days before my scheduled period. Wondering if I should test again a little later?
