Is it medically relevant to disclose that it was an abortion vs a miscarriage?

My husband and I have recently began TTC. About ten years ago my ex Bf and I became pregnant and made the decision together to terminate. I do not regret this decision, this was the right thing for us to do at the time. However, I have since moved from California to South Georgia and am concerned about the judgement from my doctor who is a southern belle through and through and has lived her whole life down here in the Bible Belt. I have my first appt with her this Friday for some complications concerning my IUD removal.
